Delivery drivers, also called van drivers, deliver goods from one organisation or individual, to another.

Common duties
- Manoeuvring vehicles for packing and unpacking
- Verifying and handling documents
- Determining the most appropriate delivery routes, to deliver the goods
- Ensuring that vehicle maintenance needs are documented and reported
- Handling payments and issuing invoices
Experience and qualifications
- No formal qualifications are required to work as a delivery driver, however a driver’s license is essential, and other tickets, checks and licenses can help your application, such as:
- Forklift license
- Manual drivers license
- Medium rigid (MR) driver’s license
- Heavy rigid HR driver’s license
- National police check
- Psychometric or aptitude tests
