Aussies are looking forward to a long weekend thanks to the Australia Day public holiday on Monday.

Check out your full guide to what’s open across the long weekend below.

BUNNINGS

People planning to do home improvement across the Australia Day long weekend will be pleased to know all Bunnings stores across the nation will be open, excluding Trade Centres.

Customers can visit the Bunnings website or app to check their local store’s trading hours, as opening times will vary.

COLES

Coles supermarkets will have standard trading hours nationally on Sunday, January 26, but a handful of stores will have some adjustments. Customers are encouraged to check the Coles website for individual store trading hours.

On Monday, all stores in the ACT and Tasmania will have normal trading hours, as will most NSW and Victoria stores.

Queensland stores in tourist precincts will be open from 7am until 9pm, and all other Queensland stores will be open from 9am to 6pm.

In SA, all Adelaide metro stores will be closed excluding the CBD store which will be open from 11am to 5pm. Regional stores will operate from 8am to 8pm.

WA metro stores will open from 8am to 6pm and regional stores will have government-approved hours.

All stores across the NT will trade from 8am until 8pm, but 8am to 7pm in Alice Springs.

WOOLWORTHS, BIG W

Most Woolworths and Big W stores will be open nationally across the long weekend, but customers are asked to check the individual store’s opening and closing times which may vary from store to store.

In Victoria, Woolworths stores on Bourke St and Collins Square in Melbourne will be closed on Australia Day.

Woolworths stores in Queensland’s Gordonvale, Mission Beach, Weipa, Ayr, Bowen, Charters Towers, Mt Isa, Blackwater, Childres, Chinchilla, Kingaroy, Pittsworth and Roma will be closed on Australia Day.

In WA, Woolworths stores in Esperance and Katanning will not trade on Australia Day.

Woolworths in South Australia’s Millicent will be closed on January 26, along with Big Stories in Victor Harbor, Port Augusta, Renmark, Murray Bridge and Mount Gambier.

LIQUORLAND, VINTAGE CELLARS AND FIRST CHOICE LIQUOR

Most Liquorland, Vintage Cellars and First Choice Liquor stores across the nation will be open for trading on Australia Day and Monday’s public holiday, but opening and closing times may vary from normal store times.

In Queensland, Liquorland stores in Red Hill and Milton Village will be closed on the public holiday.

NT Liquorland stores in Coolalinga, Alice Springs, Casuarina (Coles and Bilo), Mitchell Centre, North Lakes, Palmerston, and Pinelands will be closed on Australia Day.

WA Liquorland stores in Bunbury, Esperance, South Hedland, Boulder, Albany – Orana, Broome Chinatown, Kalgoorlie (Hannans and Bookman), Broome Seaview, Tom Price, Albany, Northgate and Geraldton Bluff Point will be closed on Australia Day.

DAN MURPHY’S, BWS

Most Dan Murphy’s stores will open by 10am and close between 6pm and 7pm on Australia Day and the public holiday.

Most BWS stores will open on Australia Day and the public holiday between 9am and 10am and close between 6pm and 9pm. Customers are asked to check with their local store.
