COVID-19 has challenged Australian businesses and employees for almost two years. Now that there are more freedoms available because of high vaccination rates, some businesses have decided to hold a Christmas party this year. This is great news, especially for businesses that were unable to have a staff Christmas party last year.

Please note that the below checklist is specific to any “on-site” functions. Some employers may choose to have their function held off-site, such as at a restaurant or function room. In these circumstances, employers are encouraged to contact the venue in advance and confirm their COVID Safe procedures.
