The Salvation Army Employment Plus is here to help.
From the impacts of Covid-19, we understand that now, more than ever, it can be a difficult time to find or maintain sustainable work, training or just keeping on top of your mental health.
We are here to let you know our services are completely accessible online and you can talk with our consultants today about signing up. We offer training and information sessions online through webinar and video calls. We also offer Allied health services including telehealth phone counselling sessions at no cost to you.
We have developed a unique program called Youth Services Connect, for youth like yourself, who are not working, and who aren’t eligible for government assistance.
The focus of the program is around understanding what your options really are, and where you can go from here.
AT YSC, WE CAN HELP YOU WITH:
- Industry specific employment information sessions
- Creating a resume and powerful cover letter
- Acing an interview (even online interviews have their challenges)
AND WE CAN REFER YOU ON TO OTHER SERVICES SUCH AS:
- Substance abuse and preventions and/or treatment
- Mental health care
- Accommodation services
